(spliced and jumbled throughout the song): Can't believe this is all that'll be. What don't I see? I know there's something more. What don't I see? Passing the sign, I know there's something more. Passing the sign, I know there's something more.

about

What a long adventure it has been! Welcome to Progress, my first EP. I've been writing music for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I would hear songs in my head and dream of ways to bring them into reality. It started by banging on the keys of my mother's organ, progressed to me writing songs for a band on guitar, and has evolved into this self-orchestrated electronic musical collage. I've been working on songs like these for the past five years. I've probably made over 50 songs, but none of them ever felt "finished" or worthy of posting. A few months ago I decided it was time to prepare a formal release of some of my music to showcase my favorite projects from these trial-and-error sessions. I mostly wanted to do this in order to move forward from these songs and take another step towards something new. To progress. I picked the five songs that held the most meaning to me personally, all for various reasons. I've learned so many things both personally and musically through preparing these songs, and there is a large piece of my being within each of them. I hope that listening to this EP makes you feel something. I highly recommend turning the volume on your stereo up, laying on your back, closing your eyes, and listening to the whole thing straight through. Thanks for taking the time to check it out, and I hope to see you soon. :)
